To understand when the rapture will occur, one must first know who we are talking about. As recorded in Luke 11 v 52 Yahusha Messiah berates the scribes for their traditions which forbade the speaking of the Creator's name under punishment of death, thus taking away the Key of Knowledge (Yahuah's Name). And because the Son's name contains part of the Father's Name (Yahusha), His name was also forbidden. The Son's prayer to His Father in John 17 vv 25-26 says, "O righteous Father, the world hath not known thee: but I have known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me. And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them." ... So the disciples preached in the Father's Name, and they grew up with Yahusha, so they knew that His name was not jesus christ but Yahusha. So how come the Father and the Son have had their names taken out of the Scriptures, and other names inserted? If we put back the Holy names, we find that we know exactly who we are talking about, thus getting the time frame of Scripture correct.
As Paul teaches in 1 Thes. 4 v 13, "NOW I DO NOT WANT YOU TO BE IGNORANT (very important) brethren, concerning those who are reposing (asleep in the grave) lest you may sorrow as the rest (unbelievers) who have no expectation. For if we are believing that Yahusha died and rose, thus also, those who are put to repose, will Yahuah, through Yahusha, lead forth together with Him (AFTER THE THOUSAND YEAR REIGN ON EARTH - Rev. 20:1-5). For this we are saying to you by the word of Yahuah, that we the living (Paul will be resurrected at the return of Yahusha for His 1,000 year reign on earth - Rev. 20 v 4, the first resurrection) who are surviving to the presence of Yahuah should by no means go ahead of those who are put to repose, for Yahuah Himself will be descending from heaven with a shout of command, with the voice of the chief messenger (angel) and with the trumpet of Yahuah, and the dead in Messiah shall be resurrected first. Thereupon we, the living (after the 1,000 year reign and the judging) who are surviving shall at the SAME TIME be snatched away together with them in the clouds, to meet Yahuah in the air. And thus shall we always be together with Yahuah. Therefore console one another with these words."
So you see how important it is to know Yahuah, your Creator, and His only begotten Son Yahusha.
Comment from Watchman Bob: William, I'm thankful that you have shared your perspective. Although your explanation of the sequence of resurrection events is somewhat confused (see the commentary on Rev 20), your point that it is of critical importance that we know the one, true God (Yahuah) and His Son (Yahushua), rather than false gods and messiahs who go by other names, is well taken.
